Frequently Asked Questions by Volunteers

4.) How do I settle my meals over at Zoo Negara Malaysia?

Volunteers are responsible in providing their own food. Volunteers may have their morning tea and lunch at the canteen. Please note that effective from 22 April 2012, styrofoam food-packaging is no longer within the zoo premises. Kindly use environmental-friendly food-packaging should you wish to bring your own packed food.

5.) What if I get sick during the Volunteer programme?

We high recommend that volunteers should not participate in this programme should the volunteer is ill. This is to prevent diseases being transmitted from the volunteers to the animals.

Do notify the Zoo Negara Malaysia officer during the morning briefing so that we can arrange another activity for the volunteer.
