The word ‘insects’ often send chills to people. Yet these invertebrates are often misunderstood yet they play an important role to the survival of vertebrate and that also includes us!

The Insect Zoo was officially opened in 28 June 2009 as part of the new attraction in Zoo Negara. It is the first of its kind in the country and the biggest in the region.
